Season 11's been wild since it landed in December. Sanctification is doing its thing, Azmodan's stomping around like he's the landlord, and everyone in my circle is chasing the same drop: the Mythic Prankster Sigil. If you've never seen one, you'll get why people won't shut up about it—five guaranteed Mythic Uniques in one run is absurd. I've played ARPGs long enough to be suspicious of anything that generous, and I still caught myself daydreaming about what I'd do with the next haul, right after I topped up my mats and checked Diablo 4 Items for what I was missing.

What Most People Get Wrong

I started like everyone else: sweating Tormented boss rotations, stacking difficulty, assuming "harder" equals "better." It doesn't. Not here. The Prankster logic feels flipped, and it takes a while to accept that your best odds aren't in the high-tier pits or the try-hard loops. The one thing that actually mattered in my testing was your Azmodan Divine Gift—Rank 4 is the breakpoint. Under that, you can grind all night and feel like the game's trolling you. Hit Rank 4, and suddenly the sigil stops feeling mythical and starts feeling… possible.

The Normal Azmodan Cheese

Here's the routine that worked for me on Barb, and yeah, it's goofy. Summon Azmodan on World Tier 4 Normal. Don't delete him. Clear the trash so you're not getting chipped down, then move into that awkward little pocket by the pillars where his big swings keep whiffing. You'll know it when you find it because it feels like you're cheating. And the weird part people never mention: let him kill you once. I know, sounds backwards. But after you die and respawn, his aggro gets flaky, like he forgets you're the main problem. That's when the AFK stretch gets long enough to be worth it.

Staying Sane While You Wait

AFK farming isn't glamorous. You're basically listening for the drop sound and checking the screen like you're babysitting a simmering pot. I'd set a timer, do chores, come back, reset if something went sideways. Trade chat doesn't help either—someone's always offering stupid gold for carries just to see Fedric's Treasure Cache pop. I get why people skip the slow setup and just brute-force runs with more summoning mats. If you're short on time, that's a real consideration. But solo, on your own schedule, this Normal Azmodan loop is the only thing that's felt consistent enough to keep me grinding without frying my brain.

Why I Still Recommend It

I'm not saying it's exciting gameplay. It's not. It's more like a low-effort routine that pays out if you're patient and you've got that Gift at Rank 4. When it hits, though, it hits hard—one sigil can flip your whole season, especially if you're hunting stuff like Ring of Starless Skies. If you'd rather spend your time running the fun content and just streamline the prep, I won't judge; plenty of folks do that and move on, and I've done the same when I'm tired, especially when I can grab what I need through Diablo 4 Items buy and get right back into the runs.
